Mai At Table is a learning and development space built around three pillars: personal growth, professional skills, and financial confidence.
Through mentoring, interactive workshops, and self-paced learning resources, my goal is to make useful knowledge more accessible and help people take their next steps with greater clarity and confidence.
Whether you're preparing for a professional exam, developing your career, or building a healthier relationship with money, there's a place for you at Mai At Table.
-
Mai At Table is organised around three learning spaces - Mentoring Table, Skills-up Table and Financial Confidence Table - each designed to support a different part of your personal and professional journey.
-
The Mentoring Table is a space for reflection, guidance, and personal development. It is designed for people who want to better understand their goals, explore challenges, and identify practical next steps in their studies, career, or personal growth.
The first cohort is currently running as a pilot, with the aim of learning from participants and improving the experience. Public events and further opportunities to participate are planned soon.
-
The Skills-up Table focuses on practical skills that can help you grow in your studies and professional life.
Initial topics include:
Personal Branding: Recognise your strengths, communicate your value, and develop an authentic professional identity.
Executive Communication: Structure your thoughts, communicate with clarity, and make your message more impactful when speaking with senior managers and stakeholders.
From Career Autopilot to Career Strategy: Learn to take control of your career with greater clarity and purpose. Discover what success means to you, identify opportunities for growth, and make more strategic career decisions. Leave with practical tools and a 90-day action plan to move forward.
ACCA and Exam Success Techniques: Learn practical approaches to exam preparation, time management, question analysis, and answer technique, informed by my experience as a qualified ACCA accountant and six-time ACCA prizewinner.
The Skills-up Table is currently running with the first cohort as a pilot. Public events are planned soon, making the workshops accessible to a wider audience.
-
The Financial Confidence Table is being developed to help people build a stronger understanding of personal finance and feel more confident making everyday financial decisions.
Drawing on my academic background in International Finance and Banking, my Master's degree in International Management, and my professional qualification as an ACCA accountant, I want to make financial concepts more approachable and practical.
The planned topics will focus on building financial knowledge, understanding money choices, and developing habits that support long-term financial wellbeing.
The Financial Confidence Table is currently in development and is planned to launch in two formats: interactive workshops and self-paced courses. More details will be shared as the content and learning materials are finalised.
-
Each table is at a different stage of development:
Mentoring Table: The first cohort is currently running as a pilot. Public events are planned soon.
Skills-up Table: The first cohort is currently running as a pilot. Public workshops are planned soon.
Financial Confidence Table: Currently in development, with workshops and self-paced courses planned for launch.

-
I hold a Bachelor's degree in International Finance and Banking, a Master's degree in International Management, and am a qualified ACCA accountant and six-time ACCA prizewinner in the Czech Republic.
With around nine years of experience in international banking and finance, I bring practical expertise in people management, team development, and leading teams through change.
Through Mai At Table, I combine my academic background, professional expertise, and real-world leadership experience to share practical insights that help others grow. When a topic requires specialist knowledge beyond my expertise, I seek the right resources or bring qualified experts to the table.
-
My academic background in International Finance and Banking, Master's degree in International Management, and ACCA qualification provide a strong foundation for sharing knowledge about financial concepts, accounting, and exam preparation.
For personal finance, my focus is on helping participants understand financial concepts and develop confidence in everyday money decisions. This is educational guidance, not individualised investment, tax, or legal advice.
For ACCA-related learning, I can share practical exam strategies, study techniques, and approaches to analysing and answering exam questions. My experience as a qualified ACCA accountant and six-time Prizewinner informs this work.
I aim to be transparent about the scope of each offering and to refer participants to appropriately qualified specialists when a question falls outside it.
-
Mai At Table is being developed as a practical learning, mentoring, and skills-development initiative. My current offerings draw on my academic qualifications, ACCA qualification, professional experience, and practical knowledge.
I do not present myself as a certified coach unless I obtain a relevant certification. Mentoring, workshops, and educational courses are designed within the scope of my experience and competence, and I am committed to continuing my own professional development.
-
You can register through the relevant sign-up form when an opportunity becomes available. For pilot cohorts and mentoring activities, you will be asked to complete a short questionnaire to help me understand your goals, expectations, and learning needs.
As public events and new courses are introduced, registration details will be published on the website.
-
Absolutely! If a program is still in development, you can follow announcements or express your interest where a sign-up or waiting list is available. This helps me understand which topics people are most interested in and plan future learning opportunities.
-
During the initial pilot phase, selected workshops or mentoring opportunities may be offered free of charge. This allows me to gather feedback, improve the content, and understand what participants find most valuable.
If a future workshop or program has a participation fee, the price and what is included will be clearly communicated before you register. There will be no obligation to continue with paid offerings.
-
I want to build Mai At Table thoughtfully and make the first learning opportunities accessible. Pilot sessions help me test the format, learn from participants, and improve the experience before introducing a sustainable pricing model.
Free participation does not mean that your feedback or commitment is unimportant. In return, I may ask participants to complete a short feedback questionnaire after the session.
-
Not necessarily. Some resources or activities may remain free, while more structured workshops or individual mentoring may eventually have a fee. Any costs will be communicated in advance so you can decide whether the offering is right for you.
-
Absolutely! Feedback is an important part of building Mai At Table. I welcome honest thoughts about what worked, what could be improved, and what you would like to learn next.
-
Please let me know. I cannot promise that every approach will suit every person, but I can promise to take constructive feedback seriously and use it to improve future sessions.
-
Of course! Mai At Table is a developing learning space, and participant suggestions will help shape future topics. If there is a professional skill, exam challenge, or learning question you would like me to explore, I would love to hear about it.
I also believe in being transparent about the limits of my expertise. When a topic requires specialist knowledge beyond my own, I will seek reliable resources or look for qualified professionals who can contribute their expertise. Mai At Table is not about knowing everything - it's about creating the right space for people to learn from the right people.
